an evening at the splash pad.

This summer, we're really enjoying the neighborhood splash pad. I think we're so lucky to have this park nearby! One evening recently, we decided on the spur of the moment to picnic at the splash pad instead of eating at the dinner table like we usually do. I put away all the dinner prep I had already done and whipped out the bread and lunch meat, packing a cooler full of sandwiches. A quick trip to the supermarket for watermelon and chips later, we were on our way! I'm confident that this is what summer was made for:

  1. The north side of Paradise.
  2. Water cannons.
  3. At nine months, Elias Hawk is already a toddler! And we can't keep him away from daddy, not even for a minute.
